I modeled and textured low and high resolution poly models of Tandy TRS-80 using Maya with reference 2D images of the original computer. I setup the UV Mapping and base materials (v-ray set and default phong set) to make the custom texturing and material design work effective.
I created a variety of different 3D textures and materials using Adobe Substance Designer and Substance Painter. I also created alternative textures and materials using open source 3D texturing software (texturelab, quixel mixer and js placement) because I am curious and enjoy comparing various production software for my 3D asset production work. Sometimes I run out of funding to cover the costs of using expensive software so I do my best to also be competent & knowledgeable of the open source alternatives.
